How do you Pronounce MOROCO and where did the name come from?
MO-RO-CO is a “lexicon”
Mo- is for Montana
Ro- is for Rory
Co- is for Cocoa
Montana and Rory are the children and inspiration, of the creator of MoRoCo Chocolate.
Is this a franchise?
No, We are privately owned company, look out for future locations!
How long have we been Opened?
Since September, 2008
Are you a coffee house?
No, we are a full service lounge with a variety of “table service” options dinner & desserts & drinks.
Boutique F.A.Q
Why is MoRoCo Chocolat different than other chocolates?
At MRC we carefully hand craft each creation, using only the finest and freshest ingredients. We use no artificial ingredients or preservatives and produces in our in house lab.
What is your base chocolate or couvertures?
Valrohna, Lindt, Micheal Cluzie. Couverture is a French term for a chocolate with a higher cocoa butter content than standard chocolate.
What is Ganache?
Ganache: Traditional filling of many truffles. It is a simple chocolate mixture that combines heated cream and chocolate.
Are you nut free?
All of our products may contain gluten, nuts or nuts derivatives. We are not an allergen free environment, and in the support of the safety and comfort of our guest, are not able to honour any requests for allergen free products
Is MoRoCo only a boutique?
No! We have a full service licensed restaurant and offer a French inspired menu. Afternoon Tea Brunch Lunch, Dinner, Deserts and Drinks. Indulge your chocolate passion, sip and savor our delicious treats.
How do I buy the macarons?
In the Boutique the macarons are available in boxes of 6, 12 and 24. You can place an order online for pick up only.

What is Sipping Chocolate?
Sipping Chocolate is Pure decadence at its finest. Pure melted Chocolate of your choice. Pure White Chocolate with Orange and Vanilla. 40% Pure Milk Chocolate infused with Chai Indian Spiced Tea, and 66 % Pure Dark Chocolate.
Can I host a special event at Moroco ??
Can I get a table for 10?
With a reservation and for tables of 10 or more we require a minimum expenditure. $45 per person for cocktails & desserts, $48 per person for brunch, $68 per person for dinner. This can be spent in any way you chose to, drinks, food and boutiques items.
Can I order here and sit on your patio?
No, our retail is just for take out and if you would like to sit in, you must get a table and give your order to a waiter.
Can I bring my dog in?
We do not allow any animals in the patio or the restaurant. It is against the Toronto Health Code.
When do you charge an automatic gratuity?
We charge an automatic gratuity on tables just ordering desserts during peak hours. We also charge an automatic gratuity on all tables on the patio. We also charge an automatic gratuity on table of 6 or more.
Why can't we bring our food in from the boutique into the restaurant, when we made a purchase?
The Boutique and Lounge are two different types of Services. The Boutique serves as a Shop for your chocolate addiction and provides a Take Out service with its own take out menu. While our Lounge serves as a dine-in Restaurant with our variety of “table service” and menu options fulfilling your savory pallet.
Where is parking located closest to your restaurant?
There is a Green P The 2 level underground garage is located at 100 Yorkville Avenue (at Bellair Street.)
Is the music loud?
Yes! Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays we have a DJ and the volume is high.
